Player Safety First

Responsible Gambling at Spinggo

Gambling should be enjoyable — a form of entertainment, not a source of stress or financial hardship. At Spinggo, we take player wellbeing seriously. This page outlines the tools, resources, and commitments we have in place to help every Malaysian player stay in control.

21+
Strictly for players aged 21 and above.
Underage gambling is prohibited on the Spinggo platform. Age verification is mandatory at registration.

Gambling Is Entertainment — Not a Financial Plan

Whether you enjoy live football betting on Liga Super Malaysia matches, spinning the reels on a weekend, or catching a live baccarat session after work — the key principle is the same: you should always be in control of how much time and money you spend.

Problem gambling is real, and it can affect players from all backgrounds across Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, and every corner of Malaysia. Spinggo exists to provide entertainment — and we take seriously our responsibility to help members recognise when that entertainment is shifting into something more harmful.

When Does Gambling Stop Being Entertainment?

Most people gamble occasionally without any lasting harm. But for some, gambling patterns can shift in ways that are difficult to notice at first. Here are some indicators worth paying attention to:

Spending more time or money gambling than you originally planned
Chasing losses — depositing more after a losing session to try to win back funds
Gambling with money set aside for rent, bills, or daily necessities
Feeling restless, anxious, or irritable when unable to gamble
Hiding gambling activity from family members or close friends
Borrowing money specifically to fund gambling activity
If any of these apply to you, please consider using our self-exclusion tool or reaching out to a support helpline. Acting early makes a real difference.

Tools Available to Every Spinggo Member

These controls are built into the Spinggo platform and accessible to all registered members. You do not need to contact support to activate most of them — they are available directly in your account settings.

Self-Exclusion

Temporarily or permanently block access to your Spinggo account. Once activated, you cannot log in, deposit, or place bets for the chosen exclusion period. Temporary periods range from 1 week to 12 months. Permanent exclusion has no end date. Contact support@spinggo.cam to activate.

Deposit Limits

Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit caps on your account in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Reductions take effect immediately. Increases require a mandatory 7-day cooling-off period before taking effect — giving you time to reconsider.

Session Time Reminders

Configure on-screen notifications that alert you when you have been playing for a set duration — whether 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours. When the alert appears, you can choose to continue or stop your session.

Loss Limits

Set a ceiling on how much you are willing to lose in a given time period. Once your loss limit is reached, your account will not accept further bets until the limit period resets. Limits can be reduced at any time with immediate effect.

Cool-Off Period

Take a short break from the platform without committing to full self-exclusion. Cool-off periods of 24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week, or 1 month are available. During a cool-off, your account is suspended and you cannot deposit or play.

Activity & History Review

Access a complete record of your deposit history, withdrawal history, session durations, and game activity in your account dashboard. Reviewing this data regularly is one of the most effective ways to stay aware of your gambling patterns.

Setting and Adjusting Your Financial Limits

Financial limits are the most practical and effective tool for staying within a budget you are comfortable with. Here is how each limit type works on the Spinggo platform.

Pro tip: Set your limits when you first register — before any session — so they reflect a calm, considered decision rather than an in-the-moment one.
Daily Deposit Limit Recommended

Caps the total amount you can deposit into your Spinggo account within a single calendar day (midnight to midnight, Malaysia time, UTC+8). Once reached, no further deposits are accepted until midnight resets the counter. Reductions take immediate effect; increases require the 7-day cooling period.

Weekly Deposit Limit

Sets a maximum total deposit amount across a rolling 7-day window. Useful for players who tend to gamble more heavily on weekends around EPL or Liga Super Malaysia fixtures, and want a single limit covering the full week rather than managing it day by day.

Monthly Deposit Limit

A hard cap on deposits across the full calendar month. Setting a monthly limit ensures your total gambling expenditure stays within a budget you have decided on in advance — regardless of how many individual sessions you have throughout the month.

Loss Limit In MYR

Defines the maximum net loss you are prepared to accept within a given period. When your net losses reach this figure, Spinggo will automatically prevent further wagers until the period resets. You can set this per day, week, or month in Malaysian Ringgit. For example, a weekly loss limit of RM500 means once you have lost RM500 in net wagers, your account suspends betting for the remainder of that week.

Session Duration Limit

Automatically ends or alerts you when a gaming session reaches a duration you specify — from 30 minutes to 4 hours. When your session limit is hit, you will see an on-screen notification and be prompted to either continue consciously or log out. This is especially useful for late-night or back-to-back gaming sessions.

How to Self-Exclude from Spinggo

Self-exclusion is the most powerful tool available to you. Once activated, it cannot be reversed during the chosen period. Here is how to request it.

Self-Exclusion Request Process

We process all self-exclusion requests within 24 hours of receipt. During this processing window, please stop depositing voluntarily.

01
Contact Spinggo Support

Email support@spinggo.cam with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request" or open a live chat conversation on the platform. State your registered email address and whether you want a temporary or permanent exclusion.

02
Choose Your Exclusion Period

Select from: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, or Permanent. Temporary exclusions expire after the chosen period; you must actively request reinstatement, which is subject to a further review period. Permanent exclusion is irreversible.

03
Identity Confirmation

Our support team will confirm your identity before activating the exclusion to ensure the request is genuine and not submitted in error by a third party. Confirmation is typically completed within a few hours.

04
Exclusion Activated Within 24 Hours

Once activated, your account will be locked and you will not be able to log in, deposit, or place bets. Any real-money balance remaining in your account at the time of exclusion will be made available for withdrawal after identity verification. You will receive an email confirmation when the exclusion is live.

05
During Your Exclusion Period

We will suppress all marketing communications to your registered email address for the duration of the exclusion. Do not attempt to register a new account during this period — doing so is a breach of our Terms & Conditions and will result in any associated funds being forfeited.

A Quick Check-In for Yourself

These questions are not a clinical diagnosis — they are a prompt for reflection. If several of them apply to you, it may be worth taking a break or speaking to someone.

Self-Reflection Checklist

Honest answers are for your benefit alone. No data from this section is submitted to Spinggo.

01 Have you ever spent more on gambling than you originally planned to in a single session?
02 Have you deposited more funds after a losing session specifically to try to recover your losses?
03 Have you used money intended for everyday expenses — rent, groceries, bills — for gambling?
04 Have you borrowed money from family, friends, or any financial service to fund gambling?
05 Do you feel anxious, restless, or irritable when you are unable to access gambling for a period?
06 Have you hidden the extent of your gambling from people close to you?
07 Have you tried to cut back or stop gambling and found it difficult?
08 Has gambling negatively affected a relationship, your work, or your financial situation?
If you answered "Yes" to two or more of these questions, we encourage you to use Spinggo's self-exclusion or deposit limit tools, and to reach out to a support organisation. See the "Support Resources" section below. There is no shame in asking for help — and reaching out early is the most effective thing you can do.

Tips for Keeping Gambling in Its Place

Set a Budget Before You Start

Decide on a fixed amount in MYR that you are comfortable losing before you open the platform. Use Spinggo's deposit limit tool to enforce that figure so no impulse deposit can override the decision you made with a clear head.

Use a Timer

Time passes quickly when you are engaged in a game or following a live football betting market. Set Spinggo's session reminder or use your phone's timer so you take deliberate breaks rather than playing indefinitely.

Never Chase Losses

Chasing losses is one of the most common patterns that can escalate gambling harm. Accepting a loss as the cost of the entertainment — just like a cinema ticket or a dinner out — is a healthy mindset that protects your overall finances.

Avoid Gambling When Stressed or Emotional

Decisions made under emotional pressure — whether stress from work, financial anxiety, or personal difficulties — are more likely to result in impulsive deposits and extended sessions. If you are not in a relaxed headspace, wait before logging in.

Review Your Activity Regularly

Log into your Spinggo account history once a week and review your total deposits, total withdrawals, and net position for the month. Seeing the numbers clearly — in Malaysian Ringgit — helps you stay honest with yourself about what the activity is costing.

Keep Other Activities in Your Life

Gambling works best as one of many leisure activities, not as the central one. Make sure you maintain other social activities, hobbies, and routines alongside any time you spend on the Spinggo platform — this naturally limits escalation.

Support Resources for Malaysian Players

These organisations provide confidential support for gambling-related concerns. Spinggo lists them as a genuine resource — reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Seeking support from a helpline or counselling service does not require you to stop gambling immediately or make any commitments. Many people find it helpful simply to speak to a professional about their gambling habits — it often brings perspective and practical strategies that make a real difference over time. Spinggo fully supports players who choose to seek external advice, and we will cooperate with any responsible gambling organisation assisting one of our members.

Spinggo's Responsible Gambling Commitments

These are operational commitments — not marketing statements. Every member of the Spinggo team is accountable for upholding them.

Mandatory Age Verification

We verify that every player is aged 21 or above before granting account access. Identity documents are requested where automated checks are inconclusive.

Tools Available to All Members

Self-exclusion, deposit limits, loss limits, and session reminders are available to every registered Spinggo player — not just those who have already identified a problem.

No Aggressive Re-Marketing

We do not send promotional bonus offers to members who have set deposit limits, are in a cool-off period, or have previously requested self-exclusion. We suppress marketing for at-risk players.

Activity Transparency

Full session history, deposit records, and net win/loss figures are available in every member's account dashboard in MYR at all times — with no data hidden or obfuscated.

Fast Self-Exclusion Processing

Self-exclusion requests are processed within 24 hours of receipt. Marketing is suppressed immediately upon request, ahead of account lock confirmation.

Cooling Period on Limit Increases

Any request to increase a deposit or loss limit is subject to a mandatory 7-day cooling period. This built-in delay protects players from impulsive decisions made during an active session.
